Greenspan Warns of Likely U.S. Recession
If you live in Michigan this comes as no big shocker. Just try looking for a job around here. Or make a list in your head of friends and family that have been laid off in the past 6 months. See the costs of fuel and insurance rise without wages rising. Yup, recession sounds about right to me. Usually when an economist predicts a recession, it already means we are in one. Kind of like the weather man, he predicts snow from the weather patio while the snow is falling on him.

This pisses me off
Militant Islamic Groups turn to YouTube. Anyone with an Internet connection can watch videos of bombings and sniper attacks against U.S. forces - shot and edited by Islamic militants and broadcast on YouTube, the world's largest video-sharing Web site.
Instead of writing a 30 page document about why this pisses me off, I will just simply say, I cannot wait for the day when foreign oil becomes an antiquated fuel source. Then
Militant Islamic Groups will have no leverage.

My favorite bridge
Every time I visit NYC I always make a point of looking at my favorite bridge. I chose this particular photo to say thanks to the NYPD. Thanks for all of your sacrifices, and for keeping NYC safe. You guys and ladies are true heroes.
Photo of the day
Here is a picture of the Manhattan Bridge in NYC. Not sure what year it is from, maybe you can guess from the skyline.
